This property in the Cults area of Aberdeen had become subject to water damage from the flooding of a nearby burn.
The property then went through a ‘drying out process’, along with the removal of some of the plasterboard sheeting (approx. 1 metre up from floor level) and all the timber flooring. This process was carried out by a separate contractor. Our job in this case was to carry out a spray treatment to all the exposed timbers with a microemulsion, deep penetrating solution that prevents any fungal decay and staining to occur – a preservative that also eradicates insect attack.
