Approximately 10 miles west of Peterhead, Aberdeenshire lies the small village of Old Deer, and the 150 year old granite property that we had the pleasure of treating for woodworm. Like most properties of this age, a number of the roofing timbers had succumbed to the effects of the common furniture beetle, possibly over many, many years. No structural damage had be caused, so a simple spray treatment of the exposed timbers gave us the assurance that any continued activity would be reduced and finally stop.
