Woodworm treatment carried out on the old roof void of a property beside Whitecairns, Aberdeenshire. A mild outbreak of the common furniture beetle was found to be affecting most of the roofing timbers. Both old and recent woodworm activity was visible. All exposed timbers were brushed down of cobwebs, the water tanks covered in a polythene sheeting, and electrical points covered in polythene. Insulation material was moved to allow for the low pressure spray treatment of our micro emulsion woodworm treatment fluid, and reinstated on completion.
