Woodworm Whitecairns

Woodworm treatment carried out on the old roof void of a property beside Whitecairns, Aberdeenshire. A mild outbreak of the common furniture beetle was found to be affecting most of the roofing timbers. These were brushed down of old cobwebs, water tanks covered in a polythene sheeting, electrical points covered in polythene also. Insulation moved to allow for the spray treatment and reinstated.
