Charleston Nigg Farmhouse, Aberdeen

An ex-farmhouse located at Charleston, Nigg on the outskirts of Aberdeen was suffering from penetrating damp to one of it’s upper floor gable walls.

We removed the traditional lath, plaster and ‘dooks’ that were holding up the framing and replaced it with new treated timbers and foil backed plasterboard. A simple treatment to a very simple issue.

The picture above shows the penetrating damp clearly visible once the wallpaper was removed.
