Dry rot treatment carried out within these joint properties on the north side of Aberdeen. Work included the removal of the affected timber safe lintel and installment of a set of pre-stressed concrete lintels, new joist sections bolted alongside with our engineer bolts to the original 9″ joists. After the initial exposure work was carried out it was evident that further work was required to remove the affected timbers and plaster, which included uplifting the laminate floor above, uplift and dispose of the 28mm tongue and grooved timber flooring which was replaced with new treated boards. Full biocide treatment to the exposed masonry and surrounding timbers, and the building up of the joist end pockets to ensure no lateral movement.
